Buddha Boxes

I've recently got really interested in Buddha boxes, which are essentially a very simple audio device that plays back programmed loops. Originally they had been used for Buddhist mantras such as the above, which are extremely cool come in a variety of types, sounds what have you. Theyre mega cheap and shipped from somewhere in China available on Deal Extreme because of the price I may just have to pick one up.

the Buddha Machine II is basically the same thing, but produced by noise musicians. These have a series of really gr8 tones that can change the pitch. I'm definitely gonna put 25$ on one of these bad boys.

Throbbing Gristle also made one of these things, but using their own tunes. That's extremely cool but not conducive to a relaxed, meditative state that had drawn me to them. Seriously.
